I must admit that when I set out on my solo adventure, I had no idea how much it would impact and change me; and not just my life, but my entire view of life.

I'm, not sure if it was something in the air or if it is something in the food, but I do know for certain that there was something different and magical about the geocachers that I met at the Halloween Mega Event and I will not soon be forgetting any of them and the gift that their love of the sport gave me.

I was trying to figure out how to write out all the things that I took away from the event, and am still working on that.  Until then, here are some photos of some of the fun themed caches from the weekend!

There were around 1,075 people in attendance that day at the Mega Event!! 

This is hard core devotion to the game, when you have a travel bug and code tattooed to your arm so that people can log when they "discover" you!!

I saw at least 3 people with tattoos such as this while at the event!  Talk about a love of the game, I was impressed!!
