I've been Hijacked and am being held for ransom :(

This is just a quick post to let you guys know that I will not be able to do a regular post for a few more days.  My poor little laptop has been hijacked by a nasty virus that even I was unable to tackle (I am borrowing one to type this entry) and it will be several days before my friend can have it back running again.  I am shocked at how panicked I became after this happened and realize that I have become quite addicted to this cyberverse, so I am looking at this as a good thing!

Well, it is not how I would have chosen to do it, but perhaps this is a blessing in disguise to help me get over my addiction to modern technology.  I hear there is this really trendy new social network where all the cool people hang out, so I might go and check it out. I believe it is called outside or outdoors or something like that.  Apparently they even have something called sunshine and happiness there, so hopefully it won't a total bore. ; p

So, being the helpful and annoying positive person that I am, it occurred to me that  I might not be the only bored person in search of some mischief to manage and so here are some suggestions to keep you occupied and entertained:

1. Use your secret mind power (Amusement Potential: 5-10 minutes)
Pick a passing by and try to use your mind power to command them do something, like drop their bag or knock into someone. The law of averages dictates that sooner or later one of your mind commands will come true, so you can convince yourself that you really have super human powers and waste even more time trying them out.

2. Pretend you're a robot
(Amusement Potential: 1-3 minutes)
Walk down the street with mechanical movements, adding 'zzzzzt' sounds with each motion. Pretending to have a motor broken in, say, your left hand can add at least 30 seconds more entertainment.

3. Pour water in hand, make sneeze noise, throw water on back of person's neck (Amusement Potential: 5-15 minutes)
Always a good gag. For an even bigger reaction out of the person, act like you're not sorry at all for what they think you did. Comment instead on how big that sneeze was or about how there was a lot of mucus in that one.

4.  Compile a list of 10 random things about yourself. Share them with us in the comments here!

And, my favorite idea that I myself will probably be engaging in till I get my computer back in a few days:

Have a crazy photo scavenger hunt with your friends! You must send a picture text of yourself finding or doing the items and whoever completes the list first or has the most by a certain time frame is the winner!
Here are some ideas for your hunt:
1.  Kissing a bald man's head
2.  Wearing a prom dress in public
3.  Serenading a stranger
4.  Standing next to a statue and imitating it (or pretending to make out with it, that would also be acceptable)
5.  Get a piggy back ride from a stranger
6.  Get a toy ring from a quarter machine and ask a stranger to marry you

That is just a sampling of ideas to push you out of your comfort zone (have you picked it up yet that I am a big advocate for pushing yourself out of that comfort nest?) and it sure to bring about some laughs and some stories for the grandkids down the line!

Ok, that is it for me few probably a few days unless something changes.  Feel free to email me or leave a comment if you decide to give any of these tips a try!

Hope to talk to you all again real soon!
